Fan or not, watching the story from his point of view would be interesting, at least I think it would be... It would give the game that "dark" theme lots of Zelda fans seem to like... Wouldn't it?

There would need to be a "purpose". Story-wise it would be to flat to just "play as Ganon". Something like "let's save Twinrova after her sacrifice in Oracles", somehow humanizing Ganon.

Wich would detach that pure-evil he irradiates. (Enough with Zant somehow mocking him in the weird "breaking my own neck" escena at TP's ending.

Because each dungeon is supposed to have a sage praying and is Ganon who disrupt this and turn the dungeon into a [insert Boss name here] lair.

I think your idea would work on a handheld Zelda like "Four Swords" focused in multiplayer. And one player happens to be Ganon.

But jus let me be clear: I LIKE YOUR IDEA. Totally into it. But I know how Nintendo "thinks" and beleive me, Miyamoto wouldn't greenlit such feature so easy. Anouma would need to beg.

Sony or Microsoft would. Nintendo is different (for good or not). But it's a great idea, Smash can satisfy our apetite for now.

Yeah, u have a point there, it would be hard as h... to have it make sense "story wise"... BUT if Nintendo did it, I would LOVE to see how thew do it... I mean, it can't be easy for Ganon, can it?

How Ganon makes dungeons full of monsters and everything, there must be an explanation... I WANT NINTENDO TO GIVE ME AN EXPLANATION! haha

It worked with Bowser in the Paper Mario series but practically mocking him...

NINTENDO wouldn't mock Ganon, would they? He is just... UNmockable haha... but seriously, maybe the Ganon plot could be how he gets the Triforce of Power... that would make sense... I think at least

I mean, everytime we just know he has it, but why? how? when did he get it?

Or a quest to get Zant. My problem is the "player's inmersion". You DO KNOW what's his agenda, what would motivate the player to "give Ganon" what he needs to doom Hyrule?

Now, if an external force from other realm (ala Termina, Twilight...) beat the three characters and we're on a quest to bring the Triforce back, you know, the "join forces against a greater enemy".

That would be awesome. First, a new villain more poweful and evil than Ganondorf? Then Ganon helping the heroes "softening" his character just a little only to betray them at the end of the game.

You beat this new bad*** villain, Ganon shows his true color, reclaiming his evil personality (the softening was his idea) and obviousky his position as the Final Boss.
