the zelda series never has been age demographic-centered so the way you're pushing forZelda to appeal to a 'new' demographic or for it to remain E rated is badly intended. zelda is over 25 years old

  • yeah but i'm just saying while zelda i for everyone generally nintendo likes zelda to be with 7 to about 15 and while i do like mature zelda parents can be protective so making it E lets them play it

Zelda applies to people of all ages. It always has. It really hasn't changed drastically. My mom is 51 and she still likes Zelda! Anyone can pick it up.

TP proved a TEEN Zelda could be a success, and again we should remember no Zelda title has received a reception regarded so highly than TP

Marko-that's my point. Saying Zelda appeals to everyone means EXACTLY that.

    Yeahs0
  • i my self love tp and i myself have nothing no problem with a T rating it's just not fair to younger audiences

    Yeahs0
  • the age thing i should correct zelda is for 7 to 20 ( but i hope that if your 20 you have gotten a job ) but i am pretty sure zelda isn't for 60 year olds

I ran a game store for over two years and a T rating has never stopped a parent from getting it for a younger child. Unless it says 'Mild Language', no one cares.

Seeing as Link never talks, no one has to worry about him screaming obscenities when he falls off a cliff. Though it would be hilarious.

  • i had an argument with someone who wanted a M rated zelda, and told him the exact same thing. but i feel a T rated zelda is fine, and is the limit a zelda rating should be.

Nintendo would never allow an M rated Zelda. It wouldn't be financially helpful either. The beauty of Nintendo's success is that they steer away from the easy to make ultra violent games.

Considering most games nowadays are M rated, it's refreshing to have a good game without all the violence. Not that I hate it, I just enjoy a change of pace.
