Any tips for this boss? I never seem to be able to defeat them before they defeat me.

    you need to be in the middle i recommend cross boomerang if you keep hitting they will die

    Try to get to one side and whip/sub-weapon like crazy. There's a BBQ in the left platform if you need it.

    it also helps if you can get to one corner then jump over the one behind you so you can hit them both at once, assuming you have the fully powered up whip.

    Go down to start the battle then jump back up onto the platform. When they are near go to the lowest step crouch and whip. It should kill one of them without taking damage. Then just destroy the other
