    Were you next to it when you recalibrated? Someone else on here had a similar problem and found out he was too far from the console when recalibrating.

    The Wii U actually is very buggy, however Nintendo is trying to fix this. I'm actually using my second Wii U. My first Wii U refused to read any discs, so I had to ship it back to customer service.

    That sucks. I hear you have to pay $80 for a replacement gamepad. As a start, you can try troubleshooting your Wii U by unplugging your Wii U's AC Adaptor for 90 seconds and plug it back in.
