    I don't care much for either of them, but I guess Rath Heart is a little better. There are much better sets to choose from, though, like Jaggi or Barroth.

    A lot of things are better than Rathian. Barroth gives Attack Up, Defense Up and Guard, two good all around skills and a good skill for lance/GL. Jade Barroth gives Defense, Adrenaline+1 and Ice Atk..

    I would recommend regular Barroth. Once you get access to it, Volvidon S is amazing.

    Here's how Adrenaline/Potential works. 10 points activates Adrenaline+1. This gives you a defense boost when you're below 40% health. At +2 you also get a big raw attack boost below 40% health.

    Volvidon S gives Attack Up Medium, Tremor Resist and Evade+1. You can easily gem it to Attack Up Large. It's amazing.

    Oh yeah, once you get to it, Azure Rathalos makes some pretty good armor. It and Volvidon S are some of the top high rank general use sets.

    When you start High Rank, you go for Jaggi S (Great Jaggi+), then Rath Heart (Pink Rathian), then Rath Soul (Azure Rathalos). But that's just me.
