    Machalite ore can be found pretty much anywhere while Pelagicite ore can only be found at the Flooded Forest.

    Besides the P. Ore underwater in the Flooded Forest, I'd try the Volcano area for M. Ore. Try mining near the peak, there's all sorts of Ores up there, and if you wait a bit, mining spots reappear.
