    capcom does this in every MH game. just dont fight it. get in, then turn around and leave. kill the epioth quickly, carve what you can, and go.

    Here's something to help. Mark the Lagiacruz (The monster) and leave the area. Then, wait for him to leave, and swiftly get the guts.
