    Bowgun isn't going to make it much easier for you, unless you're killing it too quick because of GS's extreme power. Just ease off on hits so the monster can have time to limp.

    Only if you like it. I did all my quests using GS and only had problem early on.

    it isn't really the weapon so much as how you restrain yourself. you have to weaken the monster and look for signs that it is weak, instead of just going all out on the monster.
