    lances, gunlances, and great swords also can block. you can also block roars FYI. but SNS also can use some items when drawn which makes it unique but has low damage output but highish status effects

    I mainly use SnS for support. It has a pretty low DPS compared to its more offensive counterpart Dual Swords, but both are still good for stacking element damage or status effects quickly.

    SNS is awesome, people don't give it enough credit. High mobility, the ability to block, using items with it drawn, and high affinity make it a really good wepon.

    It's my favorite weapon, but I think I'm going to replace it for Sword Axe in MH4.
