    you can buy a Barbaque spit from the shop in the village for around 550z. It'll cook the meat into raw/well done/ burnt meat. You just have to get the timing down. Just push A like a second after the

    dont buy one you get one for free from Jr. after you give him raw meat at the destroyed base camp. When you return back he will be standing on the stock pile. Talk to him he will give you one

    You can trade a rare commodity with the Argosy Captain for a Double BBQ Spit, and you can eventually build that into a Grill Mask. With that, one of your shakas will cook meat if you hand it to them.
