    to use farore's wind (Fw) in the shop you need to set the bottle to Y and Fw to X. then while still in the items screen press B then QUICKLY use Fw . if it doesnt work switch your X & Y items, & retry

    Step 003: get your heath down to ½ a heart, and go here. (see image) go through the goron door to set your spawn point there (incase you mess up). put bombs on X and Farore's wind on Y or vise versa

    Step 004: heres the hardest part. what you want to do is die and fall into the hole on the same frame. easiest way is to use bombs. when it works you fall through the ground into the void.

    Step 005: OK worked on the 2nd try. while still falling you need to save and quit. it will instantly play the death animation and go to the game over screen. save or don't but choose continue.

    Step 006: Surprise, Lakeside Laboratory! Also, surprise! No bottom screen! Dont panic! This is normal. Your X & Y still work so use farore's wind to go back to the shop.

    Step 007: Surprise! Dodongo's Cavern! what you need to do is get to the boss door. but be careful, you only have 3 hearts (because you did technically die earlier).

    Step 008: unlock the door, be careful with the bats, without knowing your heath they can easily kill you ( i lost my shield, but it wont change anything). now walk through the door to the boss room.

    Step 008: wait... this doesnt look like the Dodongo's cavern boss room... Surprise! its the Great Deku Tree's boss room! all you need to do here is go back through the door.

    Step 010: looks like someone beat you to him. thats good because you cant defeat Gannondorf without the bow anyway. just continue to the end of the cutscene. (we're almost done!)

    on the gameover screen choose continue, this will freeze the game and send you back to the home menu (dont panic, all save data and game data are fine)
