    Does it work in other games or system menus? If not it may need to be synced. Otherwise you may have to call Nintendo.

    It works on everything else. Even Miiverse. But as soon as Wind Waker is the active program, boom. Failure.

    That sounds like a problem for Nintendo's technical support, not Miiverse. Only idea I have is maybe check if that controller is Player 1 and GamePad isn't?

    I can''t call Nintendo, it's a third party adapter. But how do I make the Gamepad not-P1? Shutting the display off doesn't work.

    If it's third party, that may explain why it works in most places but there. That's probably looking for the Wii U Pro controller only. I would try calling the manufacturer.

    GamePad isn't THAT bad, I've played most of the game with it and I've had no problems. But that's just my opinion.
