Should I get this? The only turn-based RPGs I've played are Super Mario RPG, the first three Paper Marios, and Earthbound.

    I would say yes, I love it and those other games Mario RPG, Earthbound, all really good games. Breath of Fire2 will always be a fun game for me. I was bit upset bcuz I own it on the Wii vc also...

    The gameplay is similar to SuperMarioRPG, but this is where the strategy comes in .. u hav to select all ur battle actions in one go. Plenty of side quests plus u can select tenants for ur town ...

    Great story.Each party members has a backstory that will get rehashed along the journey. And there are comical scenes here and there. This game is grind-heavy so its difficulty is on hard by default.

    I recommend seeing a Let's Play before u make a decision. Up until the coliseum. I enjoyed Newfiebangaa's version the most. This is a standalone game in which u dont need to play the 1st one.
