My headset from the XBOX does not fit, will have to pick one up for WiiU.

Yeah, I haven't been able to use two of my other headset on the Wii u. I had to go buy a cheap rocket fish one made specifically for us users. The sound is no where near what it should be

I was looking online today at future shop, there were not many options. Will the game sound come through the headset as well, or just chat?

The nice wired headset usually only give you game sound, without a chat option. It's really Nintendo limiting our options, which is a bummer!
