What are slime weapons and what does slime do?

slime weapons are used to destroy Lrg monster parts and are created from brachydios

get to high rank kill brach and slime weapons build up explosive slime on the monster then keep hitting it and the slime turns red and hit it more to make it explode

Basically an explosive ailment that builds over time when attackin monsters from color green to yellow to red then explodes.

its kinda like if michael bay made a weapon element, lots of explosions...

ya they are cool :) but sadly there pretty over used a lot by new players,such is the trend i suppose which i don't mind, but some just stick with them and don't bother making other type of weapons :(
