    If its your health gauge your poisoned you need an antidote then, if she pins you with her foot your being mauled you'll need to move your control sticks rapidly to escape faster.

    I believe rotating the control stick is what you are supposed to do, or at least that works fine for me. When the bar hits empties, the monster lets you go. You can also use dung bombs.

    Rotate the stick and mash X and A buttons. Doing this quickly drains the gauge, and when it empties you're free. If you take too long her animation will finish and she'll hurt you a lot.
