    Fire is the element weakness. The main weak spot is the head, but when it goes into rage mode (darker skin) it changes to the tail. The body is the secondary weak spot. Bring lots of antidotes.

    The only fire weapon i have is valkyrie chordmaker. would that work well enough?

    If you're comfortable with HH, go for it. The songs aren't that useful for Giggi, but that's fine. Keep the White-White song and defense up songs active, go for the head whenever it isn't in rage.

    You don't need fire to kill it, it just helps. A high raw weapon works well too. My favorite weapon type for Gigginox is dual blades, but if you're not comfortable with them that prob won't help you.

    I like hunting horns, long swords, dual blades, and bows. but i don't have any decent bows or dual blades and my best long sword is poison based so yeah... not many choices

    get the high grade earplugs skill, if u can, [im hr rank 115], i have an anti gigginox set with hge, affinity plus 30, and razor-sharp, and i can own a g rank gigginox with it in under 25 minutes

    personally, longswords, and switch axe [ive used both of them against gigginox] work well, gunlance to, until u get to g rank, then it just sucks, and im a gunlance user

    use a gunlance for giggi, then, cus it can block its annoying roar, which i found to be the most annoying thing about it, until i got to rank

    however, there is one attack the gunlance cant block, which is when it surrounds itself with poison, though it takes awhile to charge up enough poison to use it

    I apparently can't even upgrade them but i think i was missing gunpowder which is easy to get. I'm going to see how many times i can upgrade it before i run out of stuff anything else i should know?

    If you haven't done any port quests yet, you are hr1. Port quests raise your hr in a way similar to village quests, until hr8. Then each quest gives you points. Get enough points to increase your hr.
