    I don't know about low rank, but hbgs work just fine in high and G rank. And lbgs are pretty good too. Haven't used bows, so I can't say how well they work.

    In low rank you will. And the first quests from LR>HR>G. the jump is harsh. It gets better though. Will you be choosing a good gunner table?

    Here's how it works. I'll use a Rathian as an example. Chomps, tail whips, and charges do twice the damage of BM armor, but fire balls do a lot less.

    Thanks everybody! Oh, and bows don't use ammo like other gunner weapons, so I think that might be the best to start with.
