For the 3ds, how do you break free from a monster's grasp. I see the pink bar, but i have no idea what to do, so i go into a spasm and shake the 3ds around spamming every button. help?

use a dung bomb.

carry dung bombs, they should set off if youve been grabbed. also, if you carry honey, instead of arzuros beating you up, he will steal the honey and start eating it.

Dung bombs. Only really crucial for Jho, and Rathian.

always carry dungbombs for all fights since you can use them to repell intruders or guide a monster back to a trap.
