It's sad but, I can't beat the two Stalfos in the forest temple (on the Wii VC) I can beat them EASY on here but for some reason...

  • I think they took out the Stalfos resurrection on 3ds. On the original you have to beat one down to a hit or two from destroyed, then take out the other one. Gives you time to finish him off before...

  • the other one gets back up ... not an important strategy on OoT 3d though.

  • No, the resurrection still happens. It may just be easier to get hits in here since the game runs so much smoother.

  • Yeah because in the 64 version, its like a one hit kill! (Plus the Pro Controller controls are bad)

  • Thanks for the info lord of glitches! I said "I think" because I wasn't sure, glad to get the facts. (not being sarcastic) It definitely doesn't happen in the 3 Stalfos encounters on MQ ...

  • They are pretty crafty Smith, Deku Nuts are effective if well-timed, but whether you go at them w/ the Master Sword/shield raised or shred them w/ Biggoron's, they have some great AI. Jump attacks are

  • seriously damaging if they land those. I think it's 4 hearts on original and 8 on MQ. Corneliab probably knows, guy is an encyclopedia of OoT.

  • Err might be a gal. Cornelia is a female name. Seems the taciturn sort though, unlikely we'll find out senor Smith ...

  • I'm a dude. Also, the quickest way to kill Stalfos is by freezing with an ice/light arrow (when vulnerable) and then using a Biggoron's Sword jump slash. Dead! Probably not applicable here though :P

  • Right, late game stuff, glitchless anyway. Can't really use it even then on a minimal run. I myself swore off glitches Corneliabro, but your posts are entertaining. Thanks!
