I'm a kid and I'd agree. Most kids today are immature and do lots of profane stuff on the internet(lol) while the others play just like normal CoD players
02/18/2014 11:51 AM ·Spoilers
I'm astonished a kid agrees with me. Besides, Carter, for your age it's not right for a kid, not yet in his teens, to be playing a mature game.
02/18/2014 11:53 AM ·Spoilers
Just because it's cool, doesn't mean it's OK to play the game. It's effects are more hameful to a kid's mind than you think it is. I even met a 4-year-old on the Wii playing CoD.
02/18/2014 11:56 AM ·Spoilers
There was even a video of a kid crying cause he got his Grand Theft Auto game taken away. What the heck? I'm voting against underaged gaming for reasons I believe are not for the sake of...
02/18/2014 11:58 AM ·Spoilers
"omg bloody gaming, kids must be banned from gaming," but for reasons I believe are spoiling the children. Kids need to wait until they are mature both physically and mentally. No exceptions.
02/18/2014 12:00 PM ·Spoilers
Besides, becoming 17/18 years old is inevitable. It's going to happen so there's no point to be allowing children on a game that's meant for grown ups.
02/18/2014 12:30 PM ·Spoilers
Freeway if the parents allow them to do so that's their choice me personally I don't let my daughter play M rated but that's my choice as well
02/18/2014 12:40 PM ·Spoilers
It's not about "what" the effects are, it matters on "how" it effects them. And the parents are the main issue about underaged gaming. Regardless of whom.
02/18/2014 12:43 PM ·Spoilers
Some parents own the game themselves and are thinking "it's just a game." But the question is, what does this game mainly revolve around? Besides blood and killing of course... T_T
02/18/2014 12:49 PM ·Spoilers
The crazy people are the ones who blame real life crimes on the influence of violent video games.
02/18/2014 1:02 PM ·Spoilers
I do not blame games for the crimes, but I do blame the parent's decision of allowing their child on a rated M game when they do not fully understand the world around them.
02/18/2014 1:05 PM ·Spoilers
A game is a tool for entertainment, but some forms of entertainment, like Family Guy, have negative influences. Especially on young minds.
02/18/2014 1:06 PM ·Spoilers
Take Grand Theft Auto for example, it's a game where you can commit crimes. So, if the child so young plays it, it's more than likely they'll attempt it in the future.
02/18/2014 1:10 PM ·Spoilers
But blaming a game for the crimes is just as stupid as blaming the guns.
02/18/2014 1:11 PM ·Spoilers
I do not hold the games responsible, I hold the ones allowing a young child to play on it responsible.
02/18/2014 1:14 PM ·Spoilers
Freeway you have some points but in the end of the day it's the choice for that family. take me for example my daughter is six right now and i believe she's not ready now, maybe in few yrs
02/18/2014 1:36 PM ·Spoilers
ok, so "how" do you think it affects them? im not arguing against you. i just want to know what you think happens.
02/18/2014 1:39 PM ·Spoilers
there is no evidence to suggest playing gta encourages people to commit crimes. im not saying its good for them, but that hasnt been proven yet.
02/18/2014 1:47 PM ·Spoilers
i watched a lot of violent action movies as a small child and have no desire to kill anyone. im actually a very level-headed pacifist.
02/18/2014 1:50 PM ·Spoilers
ive studied psychology and, basically, we just dont know enough about the brain to make that claim. we might find out one day that it is bad but we already know of much more negative influences.
02/18/2014 3:27 PM ·Spoilers
I personally think the gore and guns has nothing to do with it. CoD is an arcade shooter not a war simulation. What I do hate is little kids (7-12 primarily) that go around cussing and acting like
02/18/2014 3:29 PM ·Spoilers
they're bad behinds and talking so much smack. There is a level of maturity required for the internet. I don't mind it in game because the game can be frustrating if taken competitively but if some
02/18/2014 3:30 PM ·Spoilers
9 year old starts calling people out and saying calling them inappropriate words for their age and saying they are going to hack other people....The parents/guardians need to do something.
02/18/2014 3:32 PM ·Spoilers
Well I agree, i'm underaged but i'm not affected by it. For me it's just a game. I don't take this seriously i'm more mature mentally than regular kids.
02/18/2014 8:24 PM ·Spoilers
Regardless, I honestly believe kids should just wait. Kids start thinking they're cool cause they got the game. Believe me, I heard ALOT at school back in elementary.
02/18/2014 8:27 PM ·Spoilers
Like you said, Fissure-, kids start talking like they're some kind of gangster or some junk like that. Plus, almost every mic-user I encounter is a kid...
02/18/2014 8:29 PM ·Spoilers
CoD ain't going anywhere, and they're going to turn 17 sooner or later... So, I don't see a reason to be letting kids play a rated M game.
02/18/2014 8:31 PM ·Spoilers
OK, Anthony, think of it this way... How much does a child at age 5 know? Little to nothing right? Where do they get most of their smack? From their family, or the games they play.
02/18/2014 8:33 PM ·Spoilers
When I say it does effect their young minds, it's a minor influence, but it's enough to get them started. See where I'm getting at?
02/18/2014 11:17 PM ·Spoilers
kids just get worse as the years go by... dont know what it is but violent games have been around
02/19/2014 6:46 AM ·Spoilers
I honestly don't encounter many kids in Domination...just a lot of spanish speakers.... :/
02/19/2014 6:46 AM ·Spoilers
I played my beloved BO2 yesterday.....so many squeakers... :/
02/19/2014 12:29 PM ·Spoilers
I know, but the longer they play the rated M game, the more likely chances of them becoming tempted to do something bad.
02/19/2014 12:30 PM ·Spoilers
Because the parents allow their kids on a rated M game, it's the parents fault, not the games. For raising them and exposing them to content made for audiences of an older age.
02/19/2014 12:33 PM ·Spoilers
All I'm saying is it's too early for them to be playing a game meant for a later age. I even encountered a freaking 4-year-old!! I'm not exaggerating, a 4-year-old!
02/20/2014 9:24 PM ·Spoilers
They should make a law or something cause my cousin is 6 and cusses more than me. At his age, I didn't even know what cussing is.
02/20/2014 9:34 PM ·Spoilers
hey im only 14 I PLAY CALL OF DUTY AND MY BROTHER IS DOING THE SAME THING AND HES ONLY 6
02/20/2014 9:43 PM ·Spoilers
Man... So many children so young using language not meant for children to hear, let alone, use... I'm utterly disappointed in the parenting being put into today.
02/20/2014 9:45 PM ·Spoilers
I may not be a parent myself, but I do understand well enough to know it's a HUGE responsibility. I've watched my parents raise me and my sibs for quite some time.
02/20/2014 9:47 PM ·Spoilers
Where my mom grew up, if you used foul language in the household, you get soap on your tounge... This was not the toxic kind of soap, mind you, but it's still gross.
02/20/2014 10:06 PM ·Spoilers
i still think that if you taught your young teen so well why don't let him or her play CoD...
02/21/2014 8:01 AM ·Spoilers
Uh... I disagree. Cause mic users also swear on Muktiplayer. Remember?
02/21/2014 8:05 AM ·Spoilers
I guess, but my parents wouldn't let me own my own CoD game till I turned into an official adult. You know what, I think they were right to keep me from getting the game till the right age.
02/23/2014 9:35 AM ·Spoilers
I'd prefer if nobody under the age of 13 played a rated M. With or without mics.
02/23/2014 11:30 AM ·Spoilers
There are kids my age all over the internet saying things like they're bosses. Really, it makes me laugh at how unintelligent my friends are. My dad always keeps an eye on me when I play these games.
02/23/2014 11:32 AM ·Spoilers
All I do is play the game like I'm supposed to and just don't act all 'high and mighty'.
02/23/2014 8:55 PM ·Spoilers
The only "fun" I see is parents letting children, who don't know a dang thing about our world, on something they are not old enough to understand yet. Now that's "fun".
02/24/2014 1:53 PM ·Spoilers
Quamir got one thing wrong. CoD Ghosts is no fun. I'm good at it but I still like Black Ops better even though I am not the greatest at it. Why? I have no clue.
02/24/2014 9:58 PM ·Spoilers
I get that same feeling when I get on MW3. Even though it's hacked, I guess the feel of Modern Warfare won't wear out it's charm.
02/25/2014 5:49 PM ·Spoilers
the game is for anyone that are gamers if you have something to say keep it to yourself! and im 10 years old
02/26/2014 9:19 AM ·Spoilers
Then your arguement is invalid. You just want to play something "cool". The cool things are better played at the proper age.
02/26/2014 1:00 PM ·Spoilers
I think you should at least be 13. I mean, at the age of 10 you can't even understand what's happening in the story. All you know is who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.
02/26/2014 1:54 PM ·Spoilers
I find if your behaved level headed 13yr old you can play CoD online without a mic.
02/28/2014 10:07 AM ·Spoilers
Then you don't understand the conflict on campaign. If you don't understand, don't play.
02/28/2014 9:41 PM ·Spoilers
And you can't tell me you're an adult. Seriously, this is what I mean by spoiled. This is the result.
03/03/2014 1:21 PM ·Spoilers
(::) Here's a potato for showing the 9yr. old who's boss! LOL
03/14/2014 7:46 PM ·Spoilers
i know what you mean dude this one 6YR OLD WAS PLAYING ZOMBIES AND SAYING BAD WORDS an they need to be playing mario or sonic not freking cod b.o.2 or cod ghost.....
03/16/2014 1:16 PM ·Spoilers
I'm guessing it's now safe to say, children should not play a rated M game till they are at an age of 13 years or older and mature.
