Austin your wayyyy wrong. The servers are being shut down for the wii and the ds. Not wii u. Nintendo is shutting them down in a move to push wii users to the wii u.

Yes wii u online multiplayer is not shutting down. Its a good move. They are shutting down wii servers right before Mario kart 8 release so maybe that will make wii users buy a wii u.
