    Any fire weapon (SnS is weaker than others but use what you want). Lance GL and GS have shields which are nice. You might not like GS' speed though (fine for me). LS with X+A and pushing left or right

    on the analog stick and adding a roll to the side after can get you out of harms way good enough without a shield.
