i dont understand what im supposed to do in the ceadous quest.... shouldnt i be able to just attack it to make it run away like i did with the lagiacrus?...

    yes and no, yu have to break off one of its horns(the long one) then continue attacking it

    You have to break his beard to make him go to area 3. Then just do as much damage to him as you can, like when you repelled Lagi, and try to break the horns too.

    In area 3 when you see him swim down to the bottom, get ready to use Dragonator as he swims up past it; timing is critical. The Ballistas are good for doing lots of damage to the horns.

    this might not make since but, yu start the dragonator by finding a little pedastel in area 3 then hit it with your pickaxe and giant spears come out and do tons of damage

    go for his beard, he needs a haircut lol, until area 3 then just hit him till he gets enraged(he'll turn red in some areas) then wait for the right time to use dragonator on his horns
