Such an AMAZING game. Completed a full day of family hunts yesterday targeting S Zin (Z) armor for my Wife and Daughter.

how do i kill s. zinogre

Four hunters make pretty short work of a S Zin but we did use traps and flash bombs to help us make sure we cut the tails and broke all the parts.

We ran mostly Souls of Darkness but kept them separate with dung bombs. We always carved at least one.

Wife and Daughter struggled a bit with Fang Fang You're dead so we only completed that one once. The pair of them can be a bit tricky.

Strategy depends a lot on what aspect you are having trouble with and what weapon you want to use. Traps and flash bombs I already mentioned.

You can increase damage output and/or decrease damage taken depending on the skills and strategies used.

Focusing on monster weaknesses such as elemental, status attacks and weak monster zones can all be implemented. I would start with kiranico.com/monster/stygian-zinogre

If you want to go deeper pickup Ping's MH3G Dex and if you really want to know how much damage you are doing per hit pick up one of the damage calculators.

@Max, I am not familiar with Heros of Ruin. But as you can tell from my post I love MH3U. MH has been around since 2004 and each version improves upon the previous one.

MH3U is even better if you have access to a Wii U which is required to play online. The 3DS version is setup for local multiplayer or able to use a Wii U to connect online.

btw - MH4U will be out sometime next year and will allow the 3DS to be independently online multiplayer.

MH is gaining popularity in the West but is a massive blockbuster in Japan. I don't know of any other game with the amount of content that this game has.
