    For me, I hate the cats as hunting buddies. Cha-Cha can provide support and decoy tactics unlike the cats who jump into bowgun fire and throw bombs at you. Also, he's easier to raise and customize.

    you know it probably be smart for the monster hunter team to let you have Shakalakas and the cat people as hunting partners as they bring different pros ans cons in the field.
