    Page 6 & 7 of the equipment menu on any HH should have the note combinations that are available to it that produce various effects.

    Attack buffs from horns are really good. Go for the head for KO and high damage (for most monsters). Learn the swings and how to aim them.

    You should consider getting a private instructor; they can be pivotal i- Oh, HUNTING Horn? Just aim for the head, and use the songs as your combos.

    I just started using them myself and they are a really fun weapon. the Self Improvement song is very useful and you should play song more than once to keep up and advance the buffs.

    any HH is good as long as it's in the right rank class. dios bell example: yellow, blue, yellow, blue=elemental attack boost. each attack is a colored note, use them in the right order&you get a song.

    Test out your weapon's X, A, and X+A attack to see what attacks play what note and check your note list to see what songs can be played with R and try and see which are most useful to you.

    If you think there is too much to memorize, try seeing which 2 or 3 you like best, like i do with one weapon as i cycle between attack up and self improvement.
