    I assume you mean armor gems. You slot them into your armor and they increase skill points. Remember skills dont do ANYTHING unless you reach 10/15/20 though.

    The same goes for negative skills, so if you have -10 poison, you'll take twice as much damage from poison, but that goes away if you add one antidote jewel, taking it to -9.
