Gah! I've been trying so hard to get a Rathian plate, but I just can't get one. I've lost track of the number of Rathians I've killed/captured.

    Always capture Rathian/los if you want plates/rubies/mantles. Also make sure you break the head, carve the tail and gather any shinies.
