Does only wounding the head of an azure rathalos give me a better chance of obtaining a rath ruby than if i damage every other part as well?

    In high rank, breaking the head gives you a 4% chance. Breaking the wings doesn't give any chance. Carving the tail gives you a 4% chance. Capturing gives you two to three 4% chances...

    Each shiny drop you gather from Azure gives you a 2% chance at a ruby. Carving the body does not give you any chances.
