Is it odd that I don't want out of my HR gear in G because I like my skills? Crit Eye+3, Razor Sharp, Speed Sharpener, and Earplugs.

    Rath soul? It's not weird at all, skills are more important than defense. Hell, I'm still using my high rank rath soul at hr7 because the skills are good. But I am working on others sets.

    Rath soul is one of the only HR sets viable in GR. Even better than A.losX for some weapons

    i loved that ivory lagiacrus set with attack up L, health plus 20, partbreaker and blightproof. i made helios z, with more tanking ability but blightproof and partbreaker will always be useful.

    when i get far enough in g- rank i may get the g-rank azure rath set, because for some reason i never made that set in hr. the lagi u and agnaktor s sets worked great for me though

    i'd highly suggest the grank azure rath set if you can get it. the skills are pretty similar with crit+3, earplugs, fencing and focus. you can then just gem for sharpness.
