    You can, you just need higher tier armor spheres and materials. i dont remember the exact process, but i believe it aacts similarly to upgrading weapons. In the sense you need the materials and cash.

    No you cannot. Do not listen to the poster above. You can keep upgrading low rank armor to improve defense but High rank armor has different skills and resistances. It also has a higher defense cap.

    Armor skills are the most important thing in a set and those can't be ugraded. HR armor has more slots and more/different skill points. Dont waste rare spheres on low rank armor.
