    Richards advice only helps when alatreon is in its secondary mode (or when he changes his color). Standard Alatreon has little to no weakness to dragon at all. It's STRONGLY advisable to use slime on

    him, since alatreon is weak to the stuff regardless of his form/status changes. He's the only monster in the game I'd even recommend to use slime on, since his element effectiveness fluctuates.

    What james said plus ala has low tolerance 2 slime i believe if i remember correctly. Thats what i mostly use against him or dragon but mainly slime since its elemental properties has no resistance-
