    You can mine it in the Volcano. Area 9 works best for me.

    The tundra gives them too, and some late low rank quests. The Volcano will be your best bet, though.

    when it comes to hunting quests its in the rewards, quests are high rank village double qurupeco and the purple ludroth, if mining I'd do misty peaks or Volcano both high rank.
