    mom won't let me get an electric. She says I need to learn on an acoustic because it's harder. she also hates how electric guitars sounds. I've been playing for 5 years. I still don't have an electric

    Acoustic is tougher to hold down the strings. If you have messed up finger tips like I do... (callouses) electric will be simpler.

    I can respect those guitarists. I think my favorite guitarist is Andrew Stanton. He's from a really unpopular band called "I Am Empire".

    Classic Rock is good. I never loved it, but It's nice sometimes. I'm the most familiar with the Beatles.

    Of the modern bands, I liked the Kooks, Artic Monkeys (kinda), The Shins, The cure (not too modern), Nirvana(same),Pinback, Death cab... and so on.

    The first Kooks album is the best. The other ones aren't bad, but they never evolved. same problem as Nirvana and so many others.
