He's probably in, hasn't officially been announced, but they showed a Samurai Goroh assist trophy who is also from F-Zero so he's surely to follow!

The creator said himself the reason they haven't brought back all the characters yet is that they are still redesigning them, it's why Yoshi didn't come for a while!

He's still in the game - F-Zero got its own icon during the assist trophy montage. If he's unlockable, they'll wait to reveal him after the game's released
