No, we don't know whether Ivysaur and Squirtle have been cut. Just that Charizard is separate.

Squirtle, Ivysaur, Mewtwo, Jigglypuff Roy, Ike, Lucas, Wolf and Snake could be left out to make space for fresh faces, if you'd ask me.

Squirtle, Ivysaur, Mewtwo, Roy, and Wolf... there's already another water type, Ivysaur's not "that" great, I don't know about Mewtwo, Roy's a clone, and I just don't like Wolf but he can be changed!

Pikachu, Greninja, Lucario, Charizard. So there's two more to even out the amount of Pokémon in Brawl.
