I got an army glove! I was trying to get a third scared shield, but this will take care of Katt's best shield.

It's a place called Monster Island. You need to have the whale to be able to get to it. It's about northwest-east of Wyndia.

who drops it, the yellow guys? and does the spell angel do anything?

Yes the yellow guys named K.Sludge (a.k.a. King Sludge or Goo King) drop it. Each has a 3/128 chance of being dropped. Angel only works on the undead monsters and only has a chance of hitting them.

It's death for the undead. The undead monsters are few and far between, so it's hardly a useful move.
