I have been playing Mass Effect 3 for about 3 hours total... Anyone else finds it utterly boring as I do? Shall I even bother going forward? Action RPG's I guess aren't my thing.

    The heavy customization and interactive cinematic scenes with the emotionally engaging characters are the best part of the game. It's not really an action game if that's all your looking for.

    Thanks for the input. I'm really trying to get into this game, I'm just not invested enough in the story and find myself trying to skip through it whenever possible.

    It's harder to get into the story with just 3 because they have to reintroduce all the characters but if you interact with them and feel connected to them then the story means more.

    Plus the level of detail they put into creating the ME world is astronomical. You may not be able to tell yet, but explore the codex, and read planet descriptions, and talk to ppl to learn more.

    If you are skipping the story, you won't enjoy the game. The story and characters are 75% of the appeal.

    If you're having trouble, better start digging through Youtube on ME1 and 2 before heading into 3. Genesis isn't really a good recap.
