    long fragments are only obtained via sending the Hunting Fleet to the 4* Pirates Tomb. It's a very uncommon item.

    Oh ok, so you already knew where to find them? you just want to know the fastest way to make 4 days pass so you can get the spoils from the hunting fleets trip, gotcha. well, there are several really quick quests such as Prescription Pickup, or My Lords Errand that will make days pass quickly, or you could just freehunt in the meantime.
