    You get the hammer on the second floor. I don't remember the exact room, but I don't know if you know this, you can go to gamefaqs.com, put Ocarina of Time on the search engine and there will be some guides under the faq section. It will tell you exactly where the hammer is. I was playing that temple yesterday but still haven't killed the boss, hopefully will do that today.
