Who is the most legendary video game character in your opinion? Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man, or Megaman?

To be honest, I would say Mario or Sonic because they were apparently good enough for their company to continue making games for them. ("Pac is Back" doesn't count)

@Adam Are there commercials on TV for them? Or are they just put up on the console's E-Shop? (Again, "Pac is Back" shouldn't count, it's a knock-off that only part of Namco worked on)

@Adam Nintendo helped to make SM3DW. What were more people excited about? Pac-Man: Ghostly Adventures or Super Mario 3D World?

@Adam If people don't care about the game or they decide one game over the other, then the game is almost pointless. I'm not saying that Pac-Man isn't legendary, I'm just saying that he's kinda died down like Megaman.

@Adam Now see, THAT is a game that will bring Pac-Man back. People would definitely choose SSB4 over Ghostly Adventures, even though they both have Pac-Man.

Mario, Mega Man, and Sonic originated in consoles. As much as I love them all, Pac-Man originated in an arcade, thus making him more legendary. Plus, Donkey Kong is more of a legend than Mario since he had his own game long before the plumber.
