    Came to say what @Skidmark said. Besides, Wii Motion Plus+Nunchuck with the Gamepad as the map is the true way to play this. Multitasking at its finest.

    For me it just depends on if my boyfriend is using the TV for something else, but I'm really enjoying the touch controls, personally. Must suck if you're left-handed though, surely they could make a lefty version of the control scheme...

    What's lame is that this control scheme is obviously based on the Pikmin Adventure attraction in NintendoLand...WHICH HAS A LEFT-HANDED OPTION! *shakesfist*

    Mr Miyamoto was asked about a lack of left-handed options for games during e3. he said he was aware of peoples complaints and that it would be an easy update to add to pikmin, so he would definitely talk to his people about it. at least thats encouraging news.

    that's great news. in general nintendo seems to be way more responsive now than in the money-printing days last gen. it's like we're back to the Gamecube Golden Era!

    and the stylus-only mode would be easily implemented for lefties. the only buttons it uses are L & ZL which could be swapped for R & ZR easily. Swap the functions for movement & camera between sticks and VOILA! pain-free stylus-control for lefties!

    That and you can use the d-pad to cycle through Pikmin (press up) or change officers (press down), those controls could just be swapped over to the ABXY buttons.

    I do like the way nintendo seems to listen to their fans much more these days. i think miiverse has really helped with this. they have so much instant feedback on every new game/update.
