Ok so nintendo comes out with some awesome games like ssb4, mario maker, and splatoon, but what about a new starfox game, or a new metroid game, I really think nintendo is missing some its core games, here.

    I totally agree. At the very least, they should remake the Metroid Trilogy in HD!!!!!

    Both were confirmed to be in development at E3; there was even some early footage shown of Starfox by Mr. Miyamoto.

    they are but i think nintendo need to focus on new ips coz people are getting tired of them reuseing the same game series over and over

    Sequals to starfox and metroid in 2D and 3D are already confirmed to be coming. :)

    Starfox was confirmed to be in development and Ninty is looking for a partner to try to put out Starfox within a year. Metroid wasn't officially confirmed, Miyamoto said they have the 2D and prime style Metroids and that they want to take care of both...but neither was officially confirmed.
