I know a couple of pieces of software, and one of them works with consoles, but only with a capture card. Unfortunately, I'm only experienced in recording PC games ^^;

The software I personally use is XSplit Gamecaster, just because it's easiest to use, and has Twitch functionality.

I'll go watch one of your videos now.

I say go for it! Even if you don't have a mic (But XSplit is very intuitive with mics), worst case scenario you could just do commentary with annotations on the video.

Just looked on ebay, a capture card for a console will run you anywhere from $40 to $150 :P
