    Higher levels of charge have better damage multipliers for both raw and element. I recommend the Loading armor skill (Loading) enables the fourth charge level for all bows, and the FastCharge armor skill (Focus) makes your bow charge faster.

    Also, bows can load coatings for various status effects like paralysis or sleep. before you buy coatings, however, look at which ones your bow can shoot.

    like people above say, always try to charge your bow, at least to level 2 (small blink) to do the 100% of damage value of bow (otherwise lv1 does 50% of damage) also for a good distance check the aim, the peak of the curve means there will do the maximum damage, but you can also check by the spacks done by impact: orange means too far, big stars mean good range and little stars means too close

    also, power coats adds more damage to the shots, while close coats removes the penalty of close range, making point blank shots excellent. Also, ailment coats also are affected by shot charges, and when you apply one it replaces the element of the bow, if it has one. Arc Shots deal KO/fatigue damage, but also it acts like pellets or a bomb for your teammates!

    Also, it's a good idea to bring materials to make more coatings. If you use the Sleep coating, make sure to bring some Barrel Bomb L+ and some materials to make more to take advantage of the damage bonus for any attack that wakes a sleeping monster. This technique known as "sleepbombing".

    better to choose a mele weapon because its common for the monsters to COME AFTER YOU. simple logic as i do say so myself
