Is the combination of Dead Silence and Amplify "cheap"? Comparing it to Riot Shield Radar + C4, they're quite similar. In both instances, you practically know when an enemy is coming (unless they have the perk to counter, but even then they can still die). Also, with both combinations, the other player has know idea you're there, whereas you're already expecting them.

    What I dislike most though, is that it's somewhat like "pay to win". Get more kills in Call of Duty by buying a headset sort of thing. Honestly, I think the majority agrees when I say Dead Silence and Amplify aren't early as useful without headphones or headsets.

    Although that's true i'd say Riot Shield/C4 is still cheaper cuz anyone can use it to get kills on any player and you have protection from your shield as well. But it's not as easy with Amplify and Dead Silence

    The thing is a headset takes awareness. A new player wont put one on and all of the sudden sstart pre firing ans turnin on people. Anyone can pick up a controller and get brainless kills with riot shield c4 danger close.

    Everything can be counter, it's all a matter of strategy. Danger close/ Riot Shield is the only thing you have no counter to at point blank but If you're far away it losses 50% effectiveness and they're easy kills. Professional players use headsets so i do think your argument with amplify is invalid there. Mlg prohibits those in tournaments eitherway, but they use them on pubs.
