on the skill of the player as well as ur setup and the type of monster ur hunting as well as weak spots ur striking on said monster there's really no need 2 argue over something as silly as this no wep is superior over all weps, maybe in some areas yes but not completely especially in the hands of a proficient wep user. Man ppl within any mh community are so competitive towards each other relax!

Calmete, chicas. Hay un lugar para pelear, y no es aqui. Anyways, that being said, GS Master Race! That also being said, GS has WAY more DPS than people make it out to be. It's all about the rhythm and the timing of the attacks. I don't know why people still have a perceived notion of it being bad just just you can't get a decent combo going, what with the wide range of its mostly-sweep attacks.

Personally I think all wepons are good if that means anythingi mean it all boils down to what the monster is weaker agenst slash bash or piercing dmg right and having fun with the game

Nope. Not all weapons are created equal. SnS, for example has the lowest DPS of all the melee weapons and only has a few advantages over its much better counterpart in Dual Swords. Lance and Longsword got nerfed severely. Great Sword takes a lot of skill, but in the right hands it can deal massive damage. Also, they're a Class Multiplier that modifies damage per hit based on the weapon type.
