    The game wasn't exactly made with solo play in mind. You'll never be able to achieve the most top teir equipment in solo play. Thusly: Wii U > 3DS. I have both and can say this with confidence.

    @cameron the online mode may be intended with multiplayer in mind but u can solo everything even if ur a Wii U user like me so don't listen 2 the 3ds users who feel all superior just cuz they hardly have any help. Mh was always soloable from the start.

    3ds players just take more time to hunt monsters because they're health is scaled for four people hunting. so they don't have much to say about being better.
