    NIntendo of America just told a developer they said they don't support "conditional sales" aka crossbuy. It's not always up to the developers.

    Polygon has an article about the first cross buy title for Wii U and 3DS. Squids Odyssey. Only in Europe. Only if you buy the 3DS version first. If you buy the Wii U version first you would have to also pay for the 3DS version. Nintendo could make it work...
